Bitcoin climbed to $76,301, surging 9.6% in 24 hours and 18% for the week, as $1 billion in short positions were liquidated. The rally followed record $606 million inflows into Bitcoin ETFs, the largest since May, and speculation over Donald Trump’s plan to accumulate BTC reserves.

Ethereum rose 5.7% to $2,380, while the total crypto market cap reached $2.67 trillion. BTC dominance stood at 57.5%, with the Fear & Greed Index hitting 72, signaling greed. Altcoins saw mixed performance, with small-cap tokens like Catecoin and Artificial Inu posting triple-digit gains.

The surge coincided with funding rounds for crypto startups, including Neosoul’s $11 million pre-Series A backed by Amber Group. Market sentiment was further buoyed by Solana’s proposal to halve block times, aiming to improve network efficiency.
