Billionaire hedge fund manager David Tepper increased holdings in Amazon, Meta, Alphabet, and Nvidia amid strong growth trends.
Billionaire investor David Tepper, founder of Appaloosa Management, added to positions in key Magnificent Seven stocks during Q2. His portfolio, valued at $23.7 billion, now holds larger stakes in Amazon, Meta Platforms, Alphabet, and Nvidia after selling high-flying memory stocks.
Amazon remains Tepper’s largest holding, comprising over 15% of his portfolio. The company reported 37% year-over-year growth in AWS revenue in Q2, its fastest pace in four and a half years. Strong backlog, AI infrastructure investments, and a growing custom chip business underpin its momentum.
Meta and Alphabet also benefited from Tepper’s increased exposure, reflecting confidence in their digital ad and cloud segments. Nvidia’s position aligns with broader AI-driven market trends.
