Bitcoin surged past $69,000, reaching $69,636, after U.S. spot BTC ETFs recorded $517M in inflows on August 19—their highest single-day total since early May. Ethereum ETFs also attracted a record $189M in inflows, the most since October 2025.
The rally pushed Bitcoin’s market dominance to 56.1%, with total crypto market capitalization hitting $2.49T. The Fear & Greed Index rose to 62, signaling greed. Over $1B in liquidations accompanied the move, as altcoins like Pepecoin and BOOK OF MEME posted gains exceeding 40%.
Recent funding rounds included Zerostack’s $1B strategic raise and Ripple Prime’s $275M debt financing, reflecting heightened institutional interest in crypto infrastructure.
