The currency pair struggles to break above 50- and 100-day SMAs, capping gains despite recent bullish momentum.

EUR/JPY remains flat near 184.69 after two days of gains, as buyers fail to overcome resistance around 184.70. The cross is testing a confluence of the 50- and 100-day Simple Moving Averages at 184.72/73, a critical hurdle for further upside.

A break above this level could target 185.00, with potential to extend toward the July 29 high of 187.47. Support lies at the 200-day SMA of 184.05, followed by 182.05 and 179.37 if downside pressure emerges.

The Japanese Yen showed mixed performance today, strengthening against the New Zealand Dollar but remaining under pressure in other major pairs.
