Metaplanet to Invest 2,100 BTC in Super League to Build U.S.
Bitcoin Treasury Platform Japan-listed Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet (TSE: 3350) and Nasdaq-listed Super League Enterprise (Nasdaq: SLE) have entered into a definitive agreement under which Metaplanet, through its U.S. subsidiary, will contribute 2,100 BTC worth about $132.1 million and $2.5 million in cash to Super League in exchange for common stock, preferred stock and warrants, for an initial investment of about $134.6 million
Upon closing, Super League will be renamed Superplanet, Inc., with its ticker expected to change to SUPA. Metaplanet is expected to own approximately 95.7% of Superplanet’s common stock, which will serve as its U.S. Bitcoin treasury platform. — link
