Cash App users can now purchase ether, solana, and USDT through MoonPay, expanding beyond bitcoin and USDC for 50 million customers.
Block’s Cash App will allow eligible users to buy ether, solana, XRP, and USDT through a partnership with crypto payments platform MoonPay. The move expands Cash App’s crypto offerings beyond bitcoin and USDC, which was added earlier this year.
Previously, Cash App’s cryptocurrency service was limited to bitcoin, with USDC support introduced in 2024. The platform serves over 50 million users, positioning it as a major gateway for mainstream crypto adoption.
Users can fund external wallets, including Ledger, MetaMask, and Trust Wallet, directly from their Cash App balances. The integration reflects growing demand for diversified digital asset access among retail investors.
