Michael Saylor advises shareholders to adopt a long-term horizon amid potential volatility and cash reserves of $4.8 billion.

MicroStrategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor recommended investors hold MSTR shares for at least four years, with seven to 10 years as the preferred horizon. He cautioned that the period may include difficult years, emphasizing a long-term strategy over short-term gains.

The company currently holds $4.8 billion in cash, providing flexibility for Bitcoin purchases, share buybacks, or debt repayment. Saylor noted buybacks are not a priority unless MSTR trades at a significant discount to net asset value. Strategy also retains the option to sell Bitcoin if needed.

Saylor’s guidance follows MicroStrategy’s aggressive Bitcoin accumulation strategy, which has positioned the company as a major corporate holder of the cryptocurrency.
