Duquesne Family Office raises United Airlines holdings to 794,795 shares amid strong revenue growth and margin expansion plans.
Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller’s Duquesne Family Office increased its stake in United Airlines Holdings Inc (NASDAQ: UAL) by more than 200% in the June quarter, holding 794,795 shares. The move follows UAL’s 16% year-over-year revenue growth and earnings that surpassed expectations despite fuel cost pressures.
United Airlines trades at a forward P/E of 12.10, a 43% discount to the industrials sector median. Analysts project EPS growth of 49% in 2027 and 17% in 2028, which could narrow the valuation gap if targets are met. Management expects fuel cost pressures to ease by Q4.
The airline is shifting focus to margin expansion through premium seating, loyalty programs, and new initiatives like Starlink WiFi and live sports streaming. These efforts aim to drive long-term profitability and shareholder value.
