Alphabet, Amazon, and Meta have increased their capital expenditure forecasts, reflecting heightened spending on AI infrastructure. Alphabet now expects 2026 capex between $195 billion and $205 billion, up from $180 billion to $190 billion. Amazon raised its 2024 outlook to $220 billion from $200 billion, while Meta is funding AI expansion through new debt issuance.

The revised guidance follows prior projections and underscores a broader trend of rising tech investment. Earlier estimates had already signaled aggressive spending, but the latest updates exceed expectations, particularly in AI-driven data center expansion. Companies like Nvidia, Vertiv, and GE Vernova stand to benefit as suppliers of processors, cooling systems, and power solutions.

Markets have reacted positively to the announcements, with shares of key beneficiaries gaining. The moves suggest no near-term slowdown in AI-related capital deployment, reinforcing long-term growth expectations for the sector.
