Duquesne Family Office sold Micron and Intel shares while increasing its Amazon position by over 1,100% in Q2.
Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller’s Duquesne Family Office sold 23,400 shares of Micron Technology and 411,400 shares of Intel in the second quarter. The moves follow significant gains for both semiconductor stocks, which surged from April to June after a March pullback.
Micron’s stock more than tripled during the period, while Intel climbed from the mid-$40 range to as high as $141. The sales appear to be profit-taking after strong rallies. Meanwhile, Duquesne increased its stake in Amazon by more than 11 times, aligning with broader investor interest in AI-driven growth.
The trades were disclosed in a recent 13F filing, which details quarterly holdings of major institutional investors. Druckenmiller’s firm reduced or exited 23 positions while trimming 10 others.
