Bitcoin traded flat near $63,500, capped below $64,000, as US spot ETFs saw net inflows of more than 14,000 BTC over five days ending August 7. This marks the strongest inflow stretch since May, flipping institutional selling from Q2 to buying in Q3.

Q3 has drawn roughly 11,000 BTC of net inflows, contrasting with 110,000 BTC of outflows in the second half of Q2. Spot and perpetual volumes hit multi-year lows, while volatility remains near troughs, signaling thin market conditions.

Analysts note BTC’s six-month range between $60,000 and $80,000 reflects apathy rather than deterioration, with on-chain data showing potential bottoming signs. Elevated perpetual open interest amid low volumes raises liquidation risks.
