Tokenized equity holdings more than doubled as monthly trading volume surged, driven by increased demand for digital representations of traditional assets. Binance’s bStocks platform reported $67.9 million in distributed value for tokenized SpaceX exposure since its June 12 public debut, ranking among top tokenized assets tracked by RWA.xyz.

The expansion follows earlier efforts by crypto platforms like Binance, Coinbase, and Kraken to offer tokenized pre-IPO and private-market products, particularly around SpaceX. A $557 million campaign by Binance ahead of the listing highlighted strong investor interest, though some initiatives were canceled due to insufficient underlying share allocations.

Standard Chartered forecasts the tokenized real-world asset market could reach $4 trillion by 2028, underscoring the sector’s rapid growth. The rise in tokenized equities aligns with broader trends in decentralized finance and institutional adoption of blockchain-based assets.
