Bank of Montreal, Canada’s oldest bank, disclosed holdings in cryptocurrency-linked ETFs, including XRP, Bitcoin, and Ethereum, in its latest 13F filing. The bank’s exposure totals over $153.84 million in Bitcoin ETFs alone, with smaller positions in XRP and Ethereum products.

The filing shows $2,771 in the XRP ETF and $199 in the ProShares Ultra XRP ETF, alongside larger Bitcoin and Ethereum allocations. Bitcoin, with a $1.26 trillion market cap, dominates the bank’s crypto-linked investments, while Ethereum’s $226.68 billion market cap ranks second.

The disclosure follows similar moves by other Canadian banks, signaling growing institutional interest in digital assets. No immediate market reaction was reported.
