Micron Technology delivered 346% growth in its latest quarter, outpacing SpaceX’s 92% as both firms join the $1 trillion valuation club. The surge in Micron’s performance stems from strong demand for memory chips, driven by AI infrastructure build-outs that have absorbed nearly all available production capacity.

SpaceX, meanwhile, operates across multiple sectors, including satellite internet (Starlink), space payload delivery, and AI (xAI). Unlike Micron, SpaceX’s businesses face no immediate cyclical risks, though its growth rate lags behind Micron’s. Memory chip demand is expected to remain elevated until new production capacity comes online next year.

Both companies serve distinct markets, with no direct competition. Micron’s cyclical exposure contrasts with SpaceX’s diversified, long-term revenue streams, complicating direct comparisons for investors.
