Oracle’s $165 billion data center initiative in New Mexico faces delays after a critical natural gas pipeline missed its August 15 target. The Green Chile Project, operated by Energy Transfer’s Transwestern Pipeline, now expects completion by February 1, 2027, according to a regulatory filing.

The delay impacts Oracle’s Project Jupiter, a planned data center development near the U.S.-Mexico border. The pipeline was intended to supply power to the facility, but the revised timeline risks disrupting Oracle’s construction schedule.

No immediate market reaction was reported, though the postponement could affect Oracle’s infrastructure expansion plans and regional energy demand forecasts.
