Wayfair’s Q2 revenue reached $3.5 billion, driven by 8.7% U.S. growth and $301 million in free cash flow amid weak industry trends.
Wayfair reported second-quarter net revenue of $3.5 billion, a 7.5% increase from a year earlier, with U.S. revenue up 8.7%. The company generated $301 million in free cash flow, marking its strongest post-COVID U.S. growth period.
The broader furniture industry has struggled to regain momentum, with Wayfair estimating flat-to-slightly positive U.S. category growth for the first time since 2021. Higher-income consumers drove demand, while weak housing turnover and tariff-related costs weighed on competitors.
Orders rose 6%, and active customers increased 3.3%, contrasting with a 1.7% decline in U.S. existing-home sales to 4.06 million in July.
