Hyperscale Data sold 685 Bitcoin for approximately $43 million to finance the expansion of its Michigan data center. The proceeds will also provide flexibility in managing the company’s debt and capital structure, including a $30 million debt reduction.

The company previously held around 960 BTC but retained 275 Bitcoin after the sale. Hyperscale emphasized the move as a strategic capital allocation decision to support growth in its data center portfolio.

Executive Chairman Milton Ault stated the sale reflects the company’s evolution and prioritizes accelerating development of key assets. Hyperscale plans to continue mining Bitcoin despite the reduction in holdings.
