Bitcoin and XRP extend losses amid stalled U.S. regulatory progress and $333 million in ETF outflows this week.

Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies fell as regulatory uncertainty and outflows from spot bitcoin ETFs weighed on sentiment. The SEC delayed key proposals, including an “innovation exemption” for tokenized securities, citing legal concerns from the White House and Wall Street.

U.S.-listed bitcoin ETFs recorded $333 million in net outflows this week, reversing last week’s $853 million inflows. Year-to-date, these funds have seen over $4 billion in withdrawals. Rising capital costs and stalled legislative efforts, such as the Clarity Act, added to the pressure.

Despite the downturn, some analysts anticipate a year-end rally, though near-term headwinds persist.
