USD/CAD pair falls to 1.3910 on eased Fed rate hike bets
The US Dollar weakened against the Canadian Dollar as cooled US inflation data tempered aggressive Federal Reserve rate-hike bets.
The US July Retail Sales report will be in the spotlight later on Friday.
The Fed is expected to leave interest rates unchanged in September after data showed inflation cooled in July, with the US Producer Price Index unchanged in July, below the market consensus of 0.2%.
Traders are now pricing a 38% odds of a rate hike next month, according to the CME FedWatch tool.
