Bitcoin spot ETFs experienced significant outflows while Ethereum ETFs recorded modest inflows on August 13.
US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds reported $131 million in net outflows on August 13, marking a notable shift in investor sentiment. ARK Invest and 21Shares’ ARKB led the outflows with $58.82 million withdrawn.
In contrast, US spot Ethereum ETFs saw $6.72 million in net inflows, driven by Grayscale’s Ethereum Mini Trust ETF (ETH), which attracted $6.47 million. The divergence highlights varying investor interest in the two largest cryptocurrencies.
The outflows in Bitcoin ETFs follow a period of mixed performance, while Ethereum’s inflows suggest selective optimism amid broader market volatility.
