Billionaire investor Bill Ackman reveals six new holdings, including streaming and payment giants, in his largest portfolio update in years.
Billionaire investor Bill Ackman disclosed six new holdings, including Netflix, Visa, and Mastercard, in his largest portfolio overhaul in years. The additions, acquired during the second quarter, will be held in funds such as Pershing Square USA, which listed on the New York Stock Exchange in April.
Ackman’s portfolio traditionally includes fewer than a dozen companies, making this expansion notable. Other new investments include Alcon, Intercontinental Exchange, and S&P Global, all of which Ackman believes are positioned for strong earnings growth. His picks are closely watched by investors and his 2.7 million social media followers.
Earlier this year, Ackman added Microsoft after its stock dipped post-earnings, citing its artificial intelligence investments as a catalyst for a rebound. Microsoft’s shares have since recovered, contributing to the fund’s performance.
