The currency pair trades near a nine-day low as technical indicators signal a bearish bias amid mixed moving average signals.

EUR/JPY declined for a third consecutive session, hovering around 183.60 in Asian trading on Thursday. The 14-day Relative Strength Index at 47.11 suggests a neutral-to-soft momentum, lacking a clear directional push.

The cross remains below its 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) but above the nine-day EMA, indicating a mildly bearish near-term outlook. Immediate support lies at 183.49, with a break below potentially targeting the August 3 eight-month low of 179.37.

Resistance is seen at the 50-day EMA near 184.51, with a breakout possibly paving the way toward the April 17 all-time high of 187.95. Market focus remains on technical levels amid subdued commentary from Japanese officials.
