The Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation reported the figures, which measure price changes for household goods and services. June’s inflation had marked a slight easing from prior months, while July’s uptick reflects modest price pressures.
The Indian Rupee showed limited movement following the release, with USD/INR trading near 95.3350, down 0.05% on the day.
