BlackRock has reduced the minimum in-kind conversion threshold for its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) to $1 million from $25 million. The move allows Bitcoin holders to convert BTC directly into IBIT shares with a significantly smaller transaction size.

Previously, the $25 million minimum limited participation to large institutional investors. The change follows growing demand for spot Bitcoin ETFs and aims to broaden accessibility. BlackRock indicated plans to lower the threshold further in the future.

The adjustment reflects efforts to streamline access to digital asset products amid rising investor interest in regulated Bitcoin exposure.
