SpaceX stock falls sharply from its June peak despite raising $85.7 billion in IPO proceeds and $25 billion via bonds.
SpaceX shares have declined 34% from their all-time high of $225.64 on June 15, when the company’s valuation reached approximately $3 trillion. The drop follows a successful IPO that raised $85.7 billion and a subsequent $25 billion bond offering, both fueled by strong investor demand.
The stock debuted at $135 and briefly traded above $200 before retreating. SpaceX also completed a $60 billion acquisition of AI startup Cursor using stock, preserving cash reserves for future investments.
Despite the pullback, analysts suggest SpaceX may deploy its capital aggressively, drawing parallels to Elon Musk’s long-term strategy with Tesla.
