The brokerage enables UK customers to trade over 50 digital assets alongside stocks and ISAs starting this week.
Robinhood Markets ($HOOD) launched crypto trading for eligible UK customers, offering more than 50 digital assets with zero trading fees. The service, rolling out this week, includes major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin ($BTC), Ethereum ($ETH), and XRP ($XRP) via Bitstamp UK Ltd.
The move follows Robinhood’s expansion of its crypto infrastructure, including its Layer 2 network, Robinhood Chain, which has processed $18 billion in decentralized exchange volume since July. The firm reported $100 million in crypto transaction revenue in Q2, down 38% from the prior quarter.
Robinhood also introduced Cortex Digests for Crypto, an AI tool explaining price movements in plain English. The UK launch targets investors integrating digital assets into diversified portfolios.
