Bitmine Immersion Technologies increases Ethereum staked position to 87% of its holdings, targeting 5% of total supply.
Bitmine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) acquired 7,391 Ethereum (ETH) over the past week, raising its total holdings to 4.8% of the circulating supply. The company now holds 5,067,309 ETH, valued at $9.8 billion, with 87% staked to secure the network and earn rewards.
Bitmine aims to control 5% of Ethereum’s available supply, a goal it is 96% complete. Annual staking rewards are projected at $194 million, yielding 2.63%. The company has maintained weekly ETH purchases since adopting its treasury strategy in 2025.
Alongside its crypto acquisitions, BMNR repurchased 3 million shares last week under a $4 billion buyback program initiated in July. The company has now bought back 19.1 million shares, citing undervaluation in its stock price.
