Sonida Senior Living reported a Q2 net loss of $24.5M, or $(0.52) per share, compared to normalized FFO of $23.7M, or $0.48 per share. Adjusted EBITDA surged 30.0% year-over-year to $50.0M, driven by operational improvements and higher occupancy.
Same-store net operating income (NOI) rose 16.9% to $51.5M, while weighted average occupancy increased 240 basis points to 87.8%. Revenue per occupied room (RevPOR) climbed 4.9% to $5,372, reflecting stronger pricing and demand in the senior housing sector.
The results highlight a recovery in senior living fundamentals, though the company remains in a net loss position for the quarter.
