Vishay Precision Group reports strong demand in Sensors segment, driving seventh consecutive quarter with book-to-bill ratio above 1.0.

Vishay Precision Group (NYSE:VPG) reported second-quarter revenue of $83.9 million, a 12% year-over-year increase, as demand in its Sensors segment offset mixed conditions elsewhere. Orders reached $95.5 million, yielding a book-to-bill ratio of 1.14, marking the seventh straight quarter at or above 1.0.

The company cited strong order momentum in semiconductor equipment, data-center infrastructure, and aerospace and defense. Sensors revenue rose 26% year over year to $33.4 million, while a $3 million shipment delay in Measurement Systems impacted overall results. The delay, tied to ERP system rollout issues, is expected to be resolved by Q4.

VPG generated $11.6 million in bookings from business-development initiatives in Q2, totaling $21.6 million for the first half. The company remains on track to meet its $45 million full-year target for such initiatives.
