The commercial flooring firm boosted full-year guidance following broad-based demand and a 47% adjusted EPS increase.

Interface reported second-quarter net sales of $395.7 million, up 5.4% year-over-year, driven by 19% growth in healthcare billings and gains in education and corporate markets. Adjusted earnings per share rose 47% to $0.88, supported by a $15.6 million tariff refund and operational improvements that lifted adjusted gross margin to 45%.

The company’s prior-year quarter saw 7% currency-neutral sales growth, while Q2 2026 delivered 3.8% growth on the same basis. Adjusted operating income climbed 34% to $74.9 million, reflecting stronger profitability.

Interface raised its full-year sales outlook to a range of $1.455 billion to $1.485 billion, up from previous guidance, citing a 5% increase in orders and a 22% rise in backlog year-to-date. Adjusted gross margin is now expected to reach approximately 40.6% for 2026.
