Allied Gold (NYSE:AAUC) shareholders approved all matters presented at the company’s annual general meeting, including the election of 10 directors and the appointment of KPMG LLP as auditor for the coming year

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Peter Marrone said the meeting was conducted by live webcast, allowing shareholders and properly appointed proxy holders to vote electronically and submit questions remotely. Based on the preliminary scrutineer’s report, the company had received proxies representing enough common shares to establish a quorum. Marrone said the company’s financial statements for the year ended Dec. 31, along with the auditor’s report, had been made available to shareholders before the meeting.

The documents were placed before shareholders without being read aloud during the session. Board nominees elected Shareholders voted on each board nominee individually under Allied Gold’s majority voting policy. Marrone said the company had not received any additional director nominations within the required notice period.
