Nutex Health reported a $65.8 million net income for Q2, reversing a year-ago loss, as lower costs boosted margins despite declining revenue.

Nutex Health (NASDAQ:NUTX) posted a $65.8 million net income for the second quarter, a sharp turnaround from a $17.7 million loss a year earlier, despite a 13.6% decline in revenue to $210.8 million. Adjusted EBITDA rose 25.7% to $90 million, driven by lower arbitration-related costs and reduced stock-based compensation.

Revenue fell from $244 million in the prior-year quarter, with hospital division revenue down 14.6% to $201.9 million. Population health revenue, however, increased 16% to $8.9 million. Operating income surged to $121.7 million from $33.7 million, while patient volumes grew 9.6% year over year.

The company expects arbitration-related costs to decline 25% to 30% if current trends persist and plans to expand with new hospitals in Arkansas, Texas, and Florida by the second half of 2026.
