Ark Innovation ETF adds $37.3 million in SpaceX and Circle shares after strong earnings, expanding high-conviction tech and crypto holdings.
Ark Invest increased its positions in SpaceX and Circle, making them top holdings in its ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK). SpaceX now ranks fifth with a $282 million stake, while Circle holds the eighth spot at $233 million, reflecting Ark’s focus on disruptive technology and fintech sectors.
The firm purchased 181,830 SpaceX shares and 273,343 Circle shares across multiple ETFs, totaling $20 million and $17.3 million, respectively. The moves follow second-quarter earnings reports, where Circle posted $701 million in revenue and $143 million in adjusted EBITDA, while SpaceX revenue surged 92% to $7.8 billion.
Circle’s USDC circulation rose 19% to $73.3 billion, and on-chain transaction volume jumped 151% to $14.8 trillion. Despite SpaceX’s revenue growth, its shares fell 13.6% as investors weighed its $18.4 billion in expenses.
