Krispy Kreme Inc. (Nasdaq: DNUT) posted a 43.2% year-over-year increase in adjusted EBITDA to $28.8 million for the second quarter, driven by cost efficiencies and its refranchising strategy. Net revenue fell 12.8% to $331.0 million, reflecting store closures and the shift away from company-owned locations.

System-wide sales rose 1.1% in constant currency to $497.3 million, or 2.6% excluding the impact of the terminated McDonald’s U.S. partnership. The company reaffirmed its 2026 outlook, targeting net revenue of $1.25 billion to $1.35 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $140 million to $150 million.

CEO Josh Charlesworth cited strong demand for the brand’s products as a key driver of growth, emphasizing progress in reducing leverage and strengthening the balance sheet.
