Bitcoin remained steady above $64,600 on Thursday, recovering from earlier weekly dips as traders focused on the token’s resilience. The cryptocurrency traded marginally higher on the day, up 0.5% for the week, while other major assets showed mixed movements.

Ether rose 1% to $1,904 but stayed down 0.7% over seven days. XRP led declines, falling nearly 3% to $1.04, while BNB slipped 1% to $595. Solana and dogecoin also dipped slightly, trading near $74 and $0.07, respectively. Hyperliquid’s HYPE was the top weekly gainer among large tokens, up over 4%.

Market attention shifted to SpaceX, where $101 billion in stock became tradable Thursday following the first lockup expiration. The company held 18,712 BTC, valued at $1.1 billion as of June. Broader risk sentiment softened as global equities and chipmakers declined, though gold rose on reduced rate-hike expectations.
