The US Treasury announced a $125 billion quarterly refunding, including $28.7 billion in new cash. Auctions next week will offer $58 billion in 3-year notes, $42 billion in 10-year notes, and $25 billion in 30-year bonds.

Coupon and floating-rate note auction sizes will remain unchanged for the next several quarters. The Treasury also plans to maintain bill auction sizes in the coming weeks and issue a short-dated Cash Management Bill in late August.

The Treasury General Account cash balance is expected to peak at $1.05 trillion in late October. TIPS auction sizes will also remain unchanged.
