German online retailer Zalando reports €3.42bn Q2 revenue but lowers full-year guidance despite strong GMV growth.

Zalando posted second-quarter group revenue of €3.42bn, up 20.8% year-on-year, driven by broad-based growth across its consumer apps and B2B segment. Gross merchandise volume rose 20.7% to €4.91bn, while adjusted EBIT increased 10% to €204.8m, supported by synergies from the About You acquisition.

Net income declined to €73.8m from €96.6m in the prior-year period, reflecting consolidation costs. The company’s active customer base grew 18.3% to 62.5 million, with B2C revenue climbing to €3.09bn. B2B revenue surged 27.6% to €334.7m, boosted by efficiencies at Zeos Fulfilment and higher-margin software sales.

Despite the strong quarter, Zalando narrowed its full-year 2026 guidance, citing ongoing market uncertainties. The retailer’s partnerships with Marks & Spencer and Next expanded during the period.
