Leidos Holdings (LDOS) shares jumped as much as 11% after the company posted quarterly revenue and earnings that exceeded analyst expectations. The defense contractor also lifted its full-year guidance for revenue, earnings, and cash flow, citing robust demand in defense technology, energy, and cyber programs.

The company’s Homeland segment led growth with a 32% revenue increase, while Intelligence & Digital and Defense segments rose 6%. Health revenue declined 8%. Prior-year results showed mixed performance, with defense demand offsetting weaker commercial sectors.

The updated guidance reflects sustained strength in government contracts, particularly in air traffic management and cybersecurity.
