IMCIVREE revenue rose sequentially as early U.S. demand for acquired hypothalamic obesity treatment accelerated in Q2 2026.
Rhythm Pharmaceuticals reported Q2 2026 global net product sales of $71.3 million for IMCIVREE, a 19% increase from $60.1 million in Q1. The growth follows the drug’s U.S. launch for acquired hypothalamic obesity, with over 400 start forms submitted by roughly 300 prescribers in the first 14 weeks.
The company also unveiled preliminary Phase II data for RM-718, showing an 11.6% mean BMI reduction at 16 weeks among seven evaluable patients. However, injection-site reactions and nausea led to two early discontinuations. Rhythm ended June with $331 million in cash, projecting a 24-month runway.
Rhythm plans a bivamelagon Phase III trial, expanded RM-718 development in Prader-Willi syndrome, and international IMCIVREE launches starting in Japan by year-end 2026.
