Zebra Technologies (NASDAQ: ZBRA) stock jumped 20.3% Tuesday after reporting second-quarter adjusted earnings of $6.35 per share, far exceeding the $4.36 analyst consensus. The company’s May guidance had projected a maximum of $4.50 per share.

Revenue rose 20.4% year-over-year to $1.56 billion, driven by 9.2% organic growth and gains across all regions. A $73 million tariff recovery boosted results, though only $41 million has been realized as cash. Excluding the tariff benefit, earnings still reached approximately $5.10 per share.

Management raised full-year earnings guidance to around $21 per share, up from the prior midpoint of $18.50, and projected free cash flow exceeding $1 billion. CEO Bill Burns noted supply constraints from memory chip shortages but called the high end of sales guidance “unconstrained.”
