Daily active Bitcoin addresses jumped to nearly 1 million as small transfers hit a post-FTX high amid security concerns.

Bitcoin holders executed large-scale fund movements following a Coldcard security incident, driving daily active addresses to nearly 1 million on July 31, up from 645,000. Small transfers under 1 BTC reached 39,600 BTC, the highest level since the FTX collapse in late 2022.

Exchange deposits from small holders climbed to their highest since early February, while long-term holder spending and pending mempool transactions also rose sharply. The activity suggests security-driven repositioning rather than outright selling, though exchange inflows typically signal potential liquidation pressure.

Market data indicated no immediate price volatility, but the spike in transfers reflects heightened caution among retail and long-term investors.
