Revenue grew 1% operationally year-over-year to $15.0 billion, driven by an 18% increase in launched and acquired products. Excluding COVID-19 treatments Comirnaty and Paxlovid, revenue rose 5% operationally. The company reported a GAAP loss of $0.04 per share due to $4.3 billion in non-cash intangible asset impairments.
Pfizer reaffirmed its adjusted diluted earnings guidance of $2.80 to $3.00 per share, including a $0.10 impact from a transaction with Innovent Biologics. The company also announced $2.5 billion in anticipated productivity savings from 2027 through 2029.
