The five-year agreement locks in sales for 1.1 million tonnes per annum of manganese concentrate from Western Australia’s Butcherbird Mine.
Element 25 has signed a binding five-year offtake agreement with OM Materials, covering all manganese concentrate produced at its Butcherbird Mine in Western Australia. The deal includes take-or-pay terms and prepayment provisions to support cash flow for the project’s expansion to 1.1 million tonnes per annum.
Pricing will align with international manganese ore benchmarks, adjusted for quality and market conditions. OM Materials gains exclusive global marketing rights for the concentrate, with exceptions for Element 25’s downstream processing needs.
The agreement is conditional on board approvals and project financing, including potential funding from the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility.
