Robinhood surpassed Q2 earnings and revenue estimates but saw its stock decline in after-hours trading.
Robinhood reported second-quarter earnings per share of $0.62 on revenue of $1.31 billion, exceeding analyst expectations of $0.43 per share and $1.28 billion in revenue. The results included a $0.14 per-share benefit from deconsolidating Robinhood Ventures Fund I, though adjusted EPS of $0.48 still topped forecasts.
The company revised its full-year guidance for non-GAAP operating expenses and stock-based compensation to a range of $2.675 billion to $2.775 billion, down from the prior $2.7 billion to $2.825 billion. Management attributed the adjustment to efficiency improvements rather than a weaker growth outlook.
Despite the earnings beat, Robinhood shares fell in subsequent trading, reflecting investor caution amid broader market conditions.
