American Bitcoin President and CFO Matt Prusak is joining Giga Energy as chief business officer and interim chief financial officer, according to a LinkedIn post.

Separately, Prusak will leave his positions as president and interim CFO of American Bitcoin (NASDAQ: ABTC) effective August 4. He notified American Bitcoin of his decision on July 30, according to the company’s disclosure. American Bitcoin appointed Paul Sacks as interim CFO beginning August 4.
Sacks will continue as head of derivatives, a post he has held since May. Sacks was co-head of digital exotics at BlockFills, a cryptocurrency trading-technology provider, from November 2022 through March 2026. Prior to that, he co-founded and ran Digital Gamma, a digital-asset trading and financial-technology business.
