Greystone Capital Management reported a median account return of 7.2% for Q2 2026, underperforming the S&P 500’s 15.2% and the Russell 2000’s 21.5% gains. Year-to-date returns reached 8.6%, compared to 10.2% and 22.5% for the respective indices.

The firm’s strategy prioritizes business fundamentals over index-driven gains, avoiding sectors like AI due to valuation concerns. Despite trailing recent benchmarks, Greystone has delivered a cumulative 222% return since inception, outperforming indices over the long term.

APi Group Corporation (NYSE:APG) was highlighted as a top holding, closing at $39.68 per share on July 31, 2026, with a market capitalization of $17.31 billion.
