T1 Energy Inc. (NYSE:TE) will supply 641 megawatts of solar modules to Clearway Energy Group (NYSE:CWEN) under a new agreement. The modules will use domestically produced solar cells from T1’s upcoming G2_Austin facility, aligning with U.S. content requirements.

Production will occur at T1’s G1_Dallas plant, a 5-gigawatt facility in Texas. The G2_Austin solar cell plant, set to begin operations in Q1 2027, will initially add 2.1 gigawatts of annual capacity. T1 expects over 60% domestic content in its modules starting in 2027.

Clearway Energy highlighted the deal’s role in securing reliable, U.S.-manufactured components for its renewable energy projects. The partnership aims to meet growing demand for domestically sourced solar technology.
