Rupee strengthens as US-Iran tensions ease
The Indian Rupee has started the week strongly against the US Dollar, with the USD/INR down 0.25% to near 95.15.
The Indian currency is strengthening due to the announcement of a ceasefire between the US and Iran, which has pushed oil prices lower.
The MCX Crude Oil contract expiring on August 19 trades over 6% lower to near Rs. 7,600, benefiting oil-importing economies like India.
