An investment of $5,000 in GE Vernova (GEV) at its April 5, 2024, low of $122.46 per share would now be worth more than $40,400. The stock surged after the company’s spin-off from General Electric (GE) on April 2, 2024, driven by strong demand in its Power and Electrification segments.

GE Vernova’s orders grew 7% organically in 2024 and accelerated to 34% in 2025, fueled by cloud, data center, and AI market expansion. Analysts project revenue and adjusted EBITDA to grow at compound annual rates of 17% and 60%, respectively, through 2028. The company’s $252 billion enterprise value reflects a premium valuation, trading at 40 times this year’s adjusted EBITDA.

The stock’s rally offset weakness in its Wind segment, which faced supply chain challenges. GE Vernova’s balanced exposure to high-growth markets underpinned its outperformance since the spin-off.
