Automaker Stellantis reports €293 million net profit, missing estimates, while revenue rises to €43.5 billion in Q2.

Stellantis NV posted a second-quarter net profit of €293 million, below analyst expectations of €464 million, despite a 13% year-over-year revenue increase to €43.5 billion. Adjusted operating income reached €773 million, missing forecasts of €903 million to €914 million, though it improved from €213 million in the prior-year period.

Revenue growth was driven by a 32% rise in North America and a 6% increase in South America, while Enlarged Europe remained flat. Adjusted operating margins improved to 1.8% from 0.6%, though Enlarged Europe reported a negative 0.6% margin. Industrial free cash flow rose to €1 billion, up from zero in the same period last year.

Shares declined following the results, reflecting investor disappointment over the profit miss despite strong revenue performance and liquidity of €44.1 billion at quarter-end.
